Our Daily Journals are designed to help you get into the practice of not just reading the Bible, but writing it too. We know from experience that writing out the Word slows us down, helps us remember what we've read and notice things that we miss by just reading the Bible.
 
This year's Kids Advent Daily Journal takes children on a journey through the prophecies of the Old Testament, exploring the promise of a Messiah who was long-awaited and who finally arrived in the person of Jesus.
 
Between Christmas and New Year the theme changes slightly to 'Still Waiting for Jesus': a week looking at the book of Revelation and the promise we still have that one day Jesus will return.
 
Each daily, double-page spread has a short Bible passage for children to write out (that matches the adult journal), plus space for their thanksgivings and thoughts (whether written, drawn or doodled!). At the end of each week there is a page for them to use to reflect on what they've learned that week.
 
As usual we've included lots of hints and tips with child-friendly explanations. And this time there are also some bonus full-page colouring pages!
 
NEW FOR 2025...
Brand new for this year are 'Prayer Pages' inspired by our 'Power of Prayer' journal. These extra pages at the start of the journal will help children think about who and what they want to pray for over the month of December and then record the prayers that God has answered and the things they want to keep praying for at the end of their journal.

Our hope is that by using this journal while waiting with excitement for Christmas Day, children will be curious about how God’s people also waited, amazed by the way God’s big story fits together, and encouraged by seeing God’s promises from long ago come true through Jesus.
