Our Daily Journals are designed to help you get into the practice of not just reading the Bible, but writing it too. We know from experience that writing out the Word slows us down, helps us remember what we've read and notice things that we miss by just reading the Bible.
 
Waiting for Jesus
 
The theme of this year's Advent Daily Journal is Waiting for Jesus. During Advent they will take you on a journey through the prophecies of the Old Testament, exploring the promise of a long-awaited Messiah who finally arrived in the person of Jesus.
 
Between Christmas and New Year the theme changes slightly to Still Waiting for Jesus; a week looking at the book of Revelation and the promise we still have that one day Jesus will return.
 
What's in the Advent Daily Journal?
 
Each daily, double-page spread has a short Bible passage to write out, plus space for your thanksgivings, reflections, and a prayerful response. At the end of each week there is a page for you to use to reflect on what you've read and written.

We've added a few brand new touches to this year's Advent Daily Journal!
 
Our Prayer Pages: Inspired by our Power of Prayer Daily Journal, these extra pages at the start of the journal help you think about who and what you want to pray for over the month of December. At the end of the journal there are two pages for you to note the prayers that God has answered and the things you want to keep praying for.
 
Looking into 2026: We have made space for you to reflect prayerfully on 2025 and look forward to 2026 with God.

Our hope is that by using this journal while you wait for Christmas Day, you will discover what the People of Israel were waiting (and longing) for, and see how significant the birth of Jesus was in establishing a new covenant between God and humanity,
enabling us to be reconciled to Him.
